PHP Programmer (MySQL and Object-Oriented Code Development)

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB DUTIES
• Develop, test, and deploy custom web applications using PHP, MySQL, and other relevant technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze client requirements and propose technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards
• Create and execute database queries and optimize database performance
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven work experience as a PHP Programmer, preferably in a fast-paced development environment
• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience with APIs and/or EDIs

System Engineer - AWS Cloud and Network Specialist

LOCATION

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a System Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud, cloud networking, servers, and network performance testing to join our dynamic team. As a System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure while ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.

JOB DUTIES
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application and infrastructure requirements, and provide technical solutions to meet those needs
• Implement and maintain cloud networking components such as VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and network ACLs
• Configure and optimize server instances, both Windows and Linux, for performance and security
• Conduct thorough network performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks, latency issues, and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor system and network health, responding to incidents and troubleshooting issues in a timely manner
• Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies related to cloud computing and network performance
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, Lambda, etc.
• Understanding of cloud networking principles and best practices
• Hands-on experience with server configuration, management, and optimization
• Proficiency in network performance testing tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
